Vew-Do Balance Boards was founded in 1991 in Manchester, Vermont. Since inception Vew-Do has led the way for balance board and balance training products. Through years of experience and action Vew-Do is continuing to develop and bring new products to market for rehabilitation, sports training, and most importantly wholesome fun! As a company, Vew-Do is committed to providing it's customers with high quality, personalized customer service, exceptionally well built and lasting products as well as 20+ years of knowledge gained from experience.

At Bay Shore, we discovered Vew-Do in the summer of 2010, and knew we had found an awesome product. You may have played on our demo boards in the stores, or see us trying to look cool on them; we assure you, we're not as cool as the boards are. Not only are they great exercise, they're super fun. And they're mad in the USA, which we support!

Rock-Style Boards

Flow
The "Flow" balance board consists of a 9-ply concave maple deck with a sexy hour-glass figure that makes it hard not to pick up and ride. The Flow is complete with an injection molded rail system, STS deck-top traction surface, and a solid hardwood tapered rock. This responsive board provides a soulful, fluid ride. The narrow, twin-tip deck and steep rock taper allow for quick transfers of rotational energy from hips to legs to board. The low impact ride is great for full body conditioning and will have you carving around the competition.

Zippy
The Vew-Do's "Zippy" is a 9-ply maple deck with just the right amount of concavity to hold onto you while you're "zipping" around. The smooth aesthetic flow of the Zippy's shape make it one of the oldest models still carried on the Vewdo line. This classic has been revamped to carry an injection molded rail system, STS deck-top traction surface and a solid hardwood tapered outrigger rock. This board is ideal for learning edge control and handling. Balance training on this "outrigger rock" increases the toe and heel riding confidence necessary for a beginner or intermediate rider.

The Nub

"The Nub" is Vew Do's latest line of boards designed to achieve new innovations in the realm of balance. The Nub expands on certain concepts that were previously unachievable through Vew Do's traditional rock and rail system. Fueling this exploration of the avant-garde in balance design is Vew Do's 22 years of ingenuity and devotion to the integral development of human balance. The beauty of these boards comes not only from the aesthetic appeal of its uniquely designed (hand crafted in the USA) shape, but from its approachability and functionality to all its riders. For people young to old, large to small, balanced to unbalanced, these boards are all-inviting and do not adhere to any one particular riding style. Virtually everyone stands to gain something from riding The Nub.

The Nub Consist of a unique "U" shaped deck with two small equal size egg-like components called "Nubs." These "Nubs" are attached as reliefs to allow for quick radial turning at either end of the deck. At the middle of The Nub, is a larger hull-shaped fixture called the "Hub." The "Hub" allows for maneuverability from the board's center position. By standing on The Nub, with these three basic integrated concepts, there is the ability to "walk" or "tick/tack" the board from one contact point to another (via hub-to-nub/nub-to-hub) all while safely being less than an inch off the ground.

Pickle Nub

The Pickle Nub has a wide surface which provides maximum stability without limiting performance. The egg shaped nubs are turned to follow the width of the board and allow for a more gradual toe-heel tilt. The Pickle Nub is ideal for fitness, core building, and rehabilitation. It's super fun too!

Butter Nub - Out of Stock
The Butter Nub has a slightly tapered shape which allows the rider to transition and move quickly. The egg shaped nubs on the nose and tail are turned to follow the length of the board and create a more challenging and faster toe-heel movement. With the Butter Nub riders can progress and practice their skills: mimicking board sports movements, rotations, and core strengthening. It is ideal for boards sports training, fitness, and advanced rehabilitation excersizes.
