Crescent Moon was the first snowshoe manufacturer (1997) to design a women's specific model and series of shoes to accommodate the differences of a woman's stride. The Gold 13 features a frame which has been bent with a very steep nose and tapered tail. Because of this unique teardrop shape, with each step, the shoes will clear away from themselves within the distance of your own natural stride without forcing you to adapt a new walking style, like other shapes do. The Gold 13’s are exceptionally responsive, lightweight, and comfortable on any trail.

Gold 15
The Gold 15, built for women and their gear weighing up to 200lbs, is uniquely designed for backcountry conditions. The tapered tail and steep nose design allows for a natural stride but with a surface area that supports you on or off the trail. We've increased the durometer, or stiffness of the polymer used and the result is an enhanced SPL binding system which in combination with the under-foot stabilizer provides even greater control and maneuverability.. Like all the Crescent Moon snowshoes, the teardrop shape is a more athletic design than any other brand available and will provide you with a better snowshoe experience because of it.

Gold 10
Great snowshoes for the backcountry! With the best combination of float and maneuverability derived from the tear-drop shaped frame, it is recommended on or off trails, with or without a pack. The binding on the Gold 10 is a larger version of the SPL which fits up to size 15 and down to approximately size 9 (Men's). If you're carrying a backpack, or hauling a toboggan of cheese through the black forest, the Gold 10 is your light and shiny armor for such duty. Silver 13
Making a shoe specifically for women was a good idea in 1997 so we expanded the choices and created a series of shoes for women. The Silver 13 is the same frame as the Gold 13 but features a lightweight aluminum crampon system and a redesigned binding for increased control and comfort. Like the other women's shoes in the Crescent Moon line, the Silver 13 has an exaggerated teardrop shape to make it easier to walk and snowshoe than traditionally shaped shoes and to provide you with an athletic and natural stride.

Silver 9
The Silver series of shoes was introduced to provide all the advantages of the teardrop shaped frame unique to Crescent Moon with components that make it lower in price than the Gold series of shoes. The lightweight Silver 9 is designed for mountain and trail hiking and snowshoers who want an athletic performance from their equipment at a great value. It is a versatile trail shoe and recommended for snowshoers who weight up to 195lbs. It features a cam-locking buckle binding system made of waterproof materials that will not come loose, even in very wet conditions and a heel tightening strap which adjusts with a simple pull. The Silver 9 is an excellent all-around shoe featuring a 3 claw aluminum traction system and a polished aluminum, TIG welded frame. The binding will accommodate a wide range of shoe sizes up to size 11. Terrific introductory snowshoes for mountain trails, parks, or right out your own backyard.
