| Duties: | The candidate will sell technical outdoor gear and apparel, so must have personal experience using a variety of specialty outdoor equipment, gear, boot/shoes, apparel. The candidate will lead kayak tours (beginning tours and multi-day adventure tours). Six-month, seasonal (May-October) or the possibility of full-time/year-round employment. | |
| Qualifications: | Candidate must be a sporting and paddling enthusiast with recent adventure in kayaking, canoeing, skiing, trekking, camping, x-country skiing, etc. Candidate must be a successful salesperson, especially in the outdoor apparel industry. Candidates should be sure to list special skills and certifications, as for example, WFR, CPR, lifesaving. References should be listed, and only candidates with good references will be considered. Candidate must have currently valid driver's license and be proficient at securing and hauling boats. Candidate must have physical strength and be able to lift 60 lbs. overhead. | |
