2011 Used Boat Sale - Annual Sale

Used Boat Prices
The Bay Shore Outdoor Store will have a one day only sale with all 2010 and 2011 used and demo kayaks and canoes reduced to closeout prices. There were hot deals on new boats from Perception, Current Designs, Wenonah Canoe, Hobie Cat kayaks, and Wilderness Systems. We also had great deals on used paddles, PFD's, sprayskirts, dry bags, and other great paddling gear.
Delivery after the sale to the Door County area is available, or we outfit your vehicle with a new car rack from Yakima or Thule!
Call (920) 854-7598 or Email us at the store if they would like to put down a deposit, or if they have questions. Boats are being held daily, and the list is not be up-to-the minute, you need to call us to reserve one. Kayaks will be available for pickup September 5th, 2010 or after.

The Door County Half Marathon & Nicolet Bay 5K was held Saturday, May 7, 2011. The entire half marathon takes place on paved surfaces within Peninsula State Park.
The Nicolet Bay 5k begins at 10:30 a.m., just after the start of the half marathon. This race has a separate starting line on Shore Road and participants will follow the course going around the bay past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and Welcker's Point, finishing at the same finish line as the half marathon. Walkers are welcome.

7th Annual Paddle Fest!

Peninsula State Park at Nicolet Beach
Have you wanted to try kayaking but never had the chance? Are you shopping for a boat but are not sure which one is right for you? Then mark your calendar for Saturday, June 11th for Bay Shore Outdoor Store's 7th Annual Paddlefest. From 9am to 1pm, the experienced staff from Bay Shore will have all of the 2011 demo kayaks down at the beach to give interested people a chance to paddle the new boats. Fifty new kayaks from Perception, Current Designs, Wilderness Systems, and Hobie Cat will all be present along with knowledgeable staff to help guide you through the choices and field your questions.
Beautiful Peninsula State Park at Nicolet Beach will be the backdrop to try new paddles from Werner and Aquabound as well as sprayskirts, PFD's, and more. The event is free and open to the public; all that's needed is a state park sticker. There will also be reduced prices on select 2010 kayaks and Kevlar and fiberglass boats will be available to paddle. Take a new boat for a spin, enjoy food and the scenery, chat with fellow paddlers and kick your summer off right at Paddlefest 2011!
